Everything. The location. The way it was done. Only improvement that can be suggested is that they are a bit rigid in terms of making meal reservations on the property. So it’s a bit of a nuisance and effort for in house guests as it limits flexibility
This family-run Lake District accommodation has an indoor swimming pool, picturesque gardens and free parking. Free WiFi is available in the downstairs public areas and the bedrooms.

The staff really make this place - they are exceptional. Fantastic service. We had a tasting menu with wine which was incredible. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The views from the hottub are wonderful.

The most beautiful cleanest place I have visited in the uk, lots of information centres for excursions.
I was not happy having to pay between 50p to 60p for every toilet visit in and around the town centre. Next time I won’t visit tea rooms and coffee shops .

The closeness of restaurants and shops make it an ideal location. It’s a mix of commercial properties and private dwellings so can be a bit noisy but the convenience of all the amenities makes it worthwhile and interesting.

A great short break location with superb bus&boat connections.
This is important because the roads are very busy and the whole area is very hilly.
Like all popular areas prices are quite high for meals etc but overall an enjoyable atea to visit.

When I visited, outside school holidays, it was busy but not overcrowded. Most activities seem to be on the water, beautiful lake, or eating and drinking. I would recommend finding a hotel with parking and walk everywhere.

The double bedroom had mould behind the bedside cabinet . Also the bedside lamps did not work.
I did pass this on via booking.com message, but received no response.
The parking is an issue . It’s a small street and it’s not always possible to get a parking spot .

Being a dog owner where we stayed it was obvious it was not first class, more like third class because of owning dogs. The bed was uncomfortable, the fan wasn't working in the bathroom. The room was like a box. The corridor outside our room was noisy I had to ask for the people to be quiet. Away from the room the area is fantastic shame about the room. A big disappointment
The staff were very friendly, and helpful in telling us about walks. The health club was really nice; very good jacuzzi, pool, sauna, steam room (and changing rooms), which was accessible 6:30am- 9pm everyday. The lobby of the hotel was lovely with seating overlooking Windermere. The spa thermal journey with mud room was incredible (both the inside and outside space). The adjoining water sports facility was also very good. Of course, location was incredible.
The location of Beech Hotel and Spa was fantastic, with a terrace with lake view, which is exactly what you want in the Lake District, the Bar area and Dining facilities were both of exceptional quality in terms of food offered and prices, in comparison to the local area.
Most of all, all members of staff encountered were fantastic. Could not do any more to help us. Great
We had a lovely 2 night stay. We had our room upgraded which was the best in the hotel so that was a nice surprise when we arrived. Staff were lovely and helpful. Good location short walk to Windemere and Bowness on Windermere. Would stay here again if we were to go back.
Room 4 was clean and spacious the breakfast was good as was the choice. The staff were friendly and helpful .the hotel is situated between bowness and Windermere. A great position
