Location to the airport arrival and departure halls, ease of access to the subway and monorail, and an exceptional spa on the 12th floor! We had an overnight stopover in Haneda Airport and we even managed to go into Tokyo for the evening. Everything is so convenient. The hotel is huge ! The rooms were very well appointed with a larger than usual shower and bathroom area.
I’d stay here again !

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!
Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Centre near the waterfront, and savour the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.
Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.
For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Markets in the grounds sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.
Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.
Tokyo was well beyond my expectations. I have NEVER seen a cleaner city. From the streets and parks to the public transportation everything was pristine. The people of Tokyo were very helpful and polite. There is so much to see and do in Tokyo that even after four full days in the city we wanted more. Thank you Japan for the trip of a lifetime. Our family is very appreciative of you and your beautiful people.

Vibrant and buzzing, but also historic and peaceful.
Vibrant and buzzing, but also historic and peaceful. Whatever you want to do Tokyo can deliver, an amazing place.
Whatever you choose to do or whatever places you choose to visit, the incredible transport network links everything, it may seem a little daunting at first, but you will very quickly get used to it. All the stories you here about how clean, tidy and efficient the transport network is in and around Tokyo are true.
Even if you only have a few days, you must visit Tokyo

Public Transport is efficient and cheap. Great museums.
Public Transport is efficient and cheap. Great museums. Cheap but excellent food. Golden Gai area touristy but quaint. Harajuku area fun shopping- the High end shopping centres around Shinjuku pretty pricey! That said, Japanese branded items such as Hoka shoes and Montbell outdoor gear very reasonable especially with tax taken off at purchase- have your passport handy.! Traffic noise is quiet and air quality good in such a big city due to electric vehicles and low speed limit.

Mix between cuture, and city.
Mix between cuture, and city. Many kinds of food to try in each area. Shinjuku is the center of everything, very convinience. Ueno station is good area to stay if you leave the city at Narita airport. I recommend to try tokyo cruise to see the different view of the city from the river. Odaiba beach is nice to relax.

In order to avoid losing time even on bullet train, I would recommend to all travelers to stay in Tokyo only to see Tokyo, and then book hotel to the other locations you want to visit. Making Tokyo base for everyday trips is not a good idea as you have each morning and evening queue up for travel. and traffic in Tokyo is much bigger than in the country side.
There are enough lockers at each station, leave your luggage there or at the reception of your hotel if it is close to the station and scroll around your next destination.

An amazing place to experience a "westernized" Japan.
An amazing place to experience a "westernized" Japan. Very accessible for English speakers although I recommend learning the basics of Japanese. Please, thank you and hello! Plenty to experience from nature day trips to busy night life.
Great location in the middle of Shinjuku, close to bus and subway stations. Also close to Shibuya and to shin-Okubo, the Korean neighborhood. Nice restaurants and convenience stores close by. Clean and nice hotel with a luxurious touch. Nice toiletries., well lit room. Even though the room is quite small it is well distributed and the fact that you can store luggage under the bed is key! If you book this hotel make sure to get the right name/address because there are 2 or 3 APA close to it (this is more like an advice, not an issue!)
Convenient access to Ochanamizo station and JR lines. Convenience stores are right next to the property for any last-minute food and drink purchases. If you are interested in exploring Akihabra's electronics stores, this is the ideal location. I was worried it would be out of the way to visit the different Tokyo neighborhoods, but that was not the case. Shibuya, Ueno and Shinjuku areas were no more than 10 to 15 min away.
I had reserved two rooms, the hotel was kind enough to give us adjacent rooms.
My stay was excellent and I would come here again. The staff, the room and the onsen were amazing! The location was perfect as it was right next to convenience stores, the Toei Ōedo Line and even a post office. Shinjuku Central Park was just a short walk away. The room had air conditioning, comfortable bed, a tv with useful information, a bath tub and comfy yukata. It all felt very luxurious and I would highly recommend this hotel!
Nice little hotel in a great location with very friendly staff. Our room had a microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine/dryer making our stay very convenient. The hotel is also very easy to get to with a 2min walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Toei Oedo Line.
Suitable for families. There was a park with a playground right behind the hotel (near Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building). Location is slightly away from the busy Shinjuku area (have to walk around 15mins to the train station)
