The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very close to the beach/boardwalk with a convenient entrance and exit. Environment felt safe and inviting but not stuffy . Hotel was extremely quiet minus the noise of the Fridge/Air conditioner.

Memorial Day Weekend: I really liked that it was connected via a short ramp onto the boardwalk of the beach. Very easy access to and from the room. It was sunny and lively during the day, very family oriented. We felt very safe. The location was great to bring our small-medium dog. The hotel is very pet-friendly. There was even a diner right on the boardwalk close to the hotel which was dog-friendly. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner there. We also walked our dog on the boardwalk, leashed of course. The outside deck on the 2nd floor is great! You can view the boardwalk, beach and area. There are tables, and couches with umbrellas and shade. We actually brought breakfast and had it out on the deck. In the evening we brought wine and relaxed up there. Pets are also allowed on the deck.

Wildwood is a middle class beach with a 50s vibe.

Wildwood is a middle class beach with a 50s vibe. I recommend Sunz Up Cafe for breakfast and The Hot Spot for pizza (there is a restaurant but they also deliver). The boardwalk and beach deliver a solid entertainment experience, but be careful of the bicyclists. Very walkable destination.

The amusement piers are really nice, clean and safe with lots of fun attractions. The boardwalk needs to be replaced and the places on the boardwalk seem safe and fun! Also had a Dunkin Donuts which made it easy to get a coffee in the morning as the hotel I stayed at did not offer coffee. The town has a strict curfew that's enforced at 10 pm. Most motels are old and over priced. I would ask when a hotel was last refurnished. If your goin to the Jersey shore I would consider other beaches first. The walk from the boardwalk to the actual ocean and point of waves is like a mile long!

There is so much to do at wildwood.

There is so much to do at wildwood. The beach is beautiful the boardwalk is so much fun and entertaining, food is great, streets are quiet at night and evening is pretty respectful. The city play parks are really nice and the area is clean. Just a great place all around. There really is not one thing I dislike when I visit wildwood.

We checked in on Monday, LABOR DAY.

We checked in on Monday, LABOR DAY. We were very disappointed how many places were already closed or closed wayyyyyy earlier than the advertised time. BARS INCLUDED, some before 11 PM. I was very surprised. We did eat at the Surfing Pig and that was great, then headed to the The Lazy Bass for a night cap. Nice outside bar on the water with live music and very friendly staff! We would definitely go back to both places again!

The hotel is a great value for money! First, its location is excellent: You're less than a block away from the steps that lead to the boardwalk. If you go on the other direction, there are restaurants and bars at your disposal. We got a suite for five adults and while maneuvering inside was a little problematic, it wasn't a hassle and we got into a pretty good flow on the second day. The bathroom is clean and the water pressure is good. The kitchen is stocked and had all of the things we needed to make meals.

First, let me say I am very picky. But every room has been completely redone, and well done. Rooms and installations were always super clean. Motel is close to the beach and the boardwalk. Owner was always super kind, kinda like a mommy to all, even going to give toys to our kids to they can have even more fun in the pool or giving us extra time to check out or even for using the pool after its closing time.
