I loved that the place had plenty of character: the names on the doors named after interesting people and elements of the decor related to them, or the blackbird motif everywhere. It was quiet despite being located over a pub (only sound was from the street outside the window but it didn’t bother me). The staff were nice and helpful.

Loved it. My very first visit in 75 years for a concert !!
Loved it. My very first visit in 75 years for a concert !! Allow plenty of time inside to tour round and appreciate the structure. Didn't think prices for food and drink too outrageous. Pre book your choice of restaurant though ! Staff friendly and helpful.

The Royal Albert Hall is emblematic of civic culture.
The Royal Albert Hall is emblematic of civic culture. A gathering place for spirits, minds and bodies, it hosts a wide range of cultural and social events, having served as backdrop for important historical events as well, and even a tennis match. It's yearly highlight is the BBC Proms, which showcase the best and the new of symphonic music.

Please note - because it isn't made obvious on their booking site - that children under 14 are not allowed to sit individually. I had been issued with one 'separate' ticket for a Prom - bought directly on their site - but we were swiftly re-seated together, when they realised the problem and were very apologetic. Relaxed performances are an excellent way to introduce youngsters to a wide range of music, and to allow for them to get enthusiastic.

This theater I guess was a great place back then when it was built, they theater is not well maintained, I have attended 4 Cirque de Soliel shows and 3 Christmas shows and I can’t get more disappointed with every visit, the pungent smell in the hallways is horrible, as you pass by the toilets the urine smell can be strongly detected, another main issue is the low quality metallic seats in the theater itself with every body move you can hear the cranky rusty sound of these chairs. This place can definitely benefit from major renovation works, I am confident it will be a stunning theater.

Location is great (once you've found it, it's number 36 Hyde Park Gate), right opposite Hyde Park and not far from Royal Albert Hall. There's free crisps and water bottles in the rooms.
Location within 25 minutes walk to the Royal Albert Hall, 10 minutes by uber and 5 minute walk from train station. No breakfast provided but the meals served in the pub downstairs were excellent with Friendly approachable staff. Traditional period type establishment with high ceilings and sash windows. In need for some modernisation but a large, bright airy room. Adequate for a short stay. Road a little busy and noisy but as expected for London. I would stay again if visiting this area.
20 minute walk from each of: Victoria Coach Station; Royal Albert Hall; Battersea Park. Nice size room (but bed is double rather than kingsize) with nice kitchenette and bathroom. View from floor 9 was very nice.
location was great for a show we were attending in the royal albert hall, the rooms were clean and have places to store luggage before check in, 24hr reception the staff are great, lovely vibe there, rooms were clean and we really enjoyed our stay!
Property is in a great location, near lots of museums and the Royal Albert Hall. Hyde Park is close also. Great for anyone travelling to London Gatwick as South Kensington tube stop, which is close to the property, is only two stops from Victoria where the Gatwick Express goes to.
Location excellent. 5 min walk from tube station and 15 min walk to royal albert hall.
Fridge in room.
Shower and bath in bathroom.
Bed very comfy and huge wardrobe.
The location was just perfect for our planned activity. It’s literally a few minutes walk from the Royal Albert Hall

Classical music or anything. Besides majestic Royal Albert Hall (in July-Sept there are The Proms) and many other venues, St Martin in the Fields church has many events, some free.
