Breath taking. Amazing. Beautiful.
Breath taking. Amazing. Beautiful. My most favourite mountain. But remember as touristy as it is, it's still a mountain you are climbing and conditions can change quickly so wear proper clothing and shoes and take plenty of water and food.

We walked up the miners track and back down into llanberis.
We walked up the miners track and back down into llanberis. Miners is very scenic with a bit of climbing but llanberis is relentlessly very steep with pretty much the same views as you walk on it's path. The miners seemed to have different scenes around every corner...magnificent!

there are several walks up Mount Snowdon for the day walker but the Knife Edge walk is really only for the experienced walkers. Check the weather forecast and keep alert as it can cloud over very quickly and become very dangerous. Remember Snowden has been there for a long time and will be there the next time so don't risk it if there is any doubt in your mind.

The hotel was in a great location, and we didn't expect to have a nice little village right by to wander too and a beautiful beautiful lake. The staff were friendly. We stayed in the deluxe executive room, which was nice. The pub food was of decent quality. Great location for the Llanberis path up to the summit of Snowdon.
The hotel is right in the centre of Llanberis and a short walk from the start of the Llanberis Path up Snowdon. The hosts were lovely and friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Our room was very nice and clean, the bed was very comfy giving a great night's sleep after a walk up Snowdon! Really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely spacious apartment. Located off the High Street but behind the main street, so was very quiet. Ideal location for Snowdon. Reccomend the Melyn Cafe, yellow fronted on High Street, serve excellent coffees, cake, and pastries.
Quite location in the mountains, great views, very good breakfast and dinner, couple running the hostel helps you if you have any questions on hiking or going around Snowdonia
Great location to climb Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and an early bus up to Pen Y Pass at 06:57 right opposite the hotel.
The hotel is ran by a lovely couple who live on site. They really look after you and nothing is too much trouble.
I stayed at Lodge Dinorwig for two nights. The location is very close to all the central hiking routes, especially the famous trail to Snowdon. The hostel is incredibly cosy and the views from the terrace are breathtaking. Great hosts, super friendly environment, and delicious breakfasts. I'm definitely coming again and have already recommended this place to my friends!
Close to walking routes up Snowdon. Staff very friendly and hostel is very clean. Food is good also.

Parking in Llanberis is cheaper and has more options than at Pen-y-pass (£10 per day vs £4 / £7 per day) so from Llanberis, leave your car and take the Snowdon Sherpa bus to Pen-y-pass in the morning and go on the Pyg Track or Miners Track to the summit of Snowdon and then descend the mountain via the Llanberis Path so you do not have to go up and down the same route
