Avoid any of the scams that go on and be aware of men/women dressing up with painted faces...trying ton get you to take a photograph...they then ask for money and can be a little pushy...i seen the mostly at the steps going down from westminster bridge to the London Eye...keep your bags over your body and closed!!
So many to see and we didn't get nearly enough of them in but would have to say Westminster Abbey. So much history and so beautiful.
Take the tube to central locations such as Westminster and make your way to the landmarks.
Take a boat trip down the Thames from Westminster to Greenwich. You see the culture on the banks of the river and you can then return to the places you want to. Visit Greenwich Park, the Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark etc and return to the West End via the Docklands Light Railway, via Canary Wharf. A fantastic cultural round trip.
Changing of the guard, Westminster Abby, Big Ben, The West End shows, then beautiful parks, all are so worth seeing and experiencing.
