The staff was nice and polite, specially the lady who has greeting us. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. The room was clean and comfortable and the facilities were perfect, specially the coffee machine, the kitchen and the washing machine. The pools were small but comfortable. Our hotel lent us towels and beach chairs. Before you settle on a spot, check out the far left as it has a man made shorebreak that makes the waves much less agressive and it was great for someone like me who doesn't like to be pushed around by the waves. There were many kids playing in the water because it was so calm. We went in May and the water was around 68 degrees. The sun is strong, I recommend you buy an umbrella at the ABC store of Longs they are around $20 and totally worth it. It was very hard to find a shady spot.

This is the beach closest to where we stayed and it more than met our expectations. It was wonderful. We could have stayed there all day from sunrise to sunset. Just spectacular. Beautiful sunsets. Lovely holiday atmosphere. Nothing can compare.

You're unable to see the beach from the street due to the extensive buildup of hotels. But you can walk through the hotels to get to it eventually. Kaulakaula Avenue is similar to Rodeo Drive in LA. The "mom & pop" shops on the side streets are closed. If you don't have a microwave, refrigerator or kitchenette you'll be paying "big bucks" for your food. There's a Safeway Grocery store for your food needs near to Waikiki beach. Traffic in the Beach area is heavy. If you don't have a map there are volunteers throughout the area who can direct you. I recommend the Ilima Hotel for your stay. It's 2 blocks away from the beach, reasonable, has limited free parking, 10 minutes from Safeway, and easy access to the H1.

A very beautiful beach, very relaxing, very scenic, boat docs and marinas, parks, nature trails, beautiful white sand, safe and enjoyable. They have luaus at various hotels along the beach and for a reasonable fee you can go to one, but we did not. The water is crystal clear and a beautiful tropical blue green tint appearance to it. This beach is a great place to go to relax and enjoy the scenery.

The beautiful pictures you see of Waikiki are private beach...
The beautiful pictures you see of Waikiki are private beach areas only accessed if staying at the serious expensive top end hotels. Otherwise the strip of sand is so narrow you sit on the grass at the foot path, as sand is only a few feet when tide in or out ! Street people everywhere!

Great location. One block back from the beach. Easy access to Waikiki Beach.
Buffet breakfast - bacon, eggs, potatoes, fruit, cereal, bagels, made to order omelet, drinks.
Bell boys were really helpful.
We grabbed a shuttle from the airport to hotel for $10 each (didn’t book, he was there waiting), otherwise $60 in taxi.
The location is amazing, a block from the waikiki beach, lots of great food and shopping around. Whilst the pool is small, the pool area is nice to lounge in and we spent a lot of time down there reading and relaxing in the sun. The rooms are a good size and the balcony was nice to have as well. It's also great value if you can't afford the fancier hotels and resorts along waikiki.
Great and modern hotel in 2 minutes walking disntance to Waikiki Beach.
Friendly staff.Hotel very clean and modern .Great entrance hall .Pool for Waikiki Hotels really big on the third floor with according bar and restaurant.
Room very clean and nice small balcony with view to the sea.
Honolulu is expensive but the hotel is worth the money.Great atmosphere when you walk in and it is making the waikik stay perfect .
The apartment is located very close to Waikiki beach - perfect to go for a quick swim in the morning! The rooms are fairly clean and well equipped. Especially the excessive amount of towels and soap provided made me laugh! ;-)
There is no hotel staff like a receptionist or manager available at the property (only available via email, office located in the area) but the cleaning ladies were super friendly and welcoming.
All in all, the apartment is good value for money, especially if you're not planning on staying home much anyway.
We loved the view and also how close the apartment was to everything. Most of the tours would pick us up here.
Being right on the beach we had a wonderful swimming time at Waikiki Beach. We could relax or we could do things. People were very friendly. Found a great Uber driver who was friendly. The apartment was well fitted out but there was no washing machine as was advertised.
Fantastic location on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki beach. Felt close to the centre without being too busy, would definitely recommend this hotel. The view from the pool and bar was also absolutely exceptional!
The Waikiki Resort Hotel is centrally located one block back from the beach. Rooms were clean, good size and our balcony had a view of Waikiki Beach. Staff were friendly and always available to help, a free basic breakfast, free activities and a pool (if you don't want to go to the beach).
Fantastic hotel with great service at best value around. Staff were always tentative and pleasent catered to requests. Room is spacious and had every amenity needed including kitchen items. Some activities were arranged in the hotel such as a cheese and wine night to meet others, beach towels available too, great location with short walk to Waikiki beach.
The location was good for transport and waikiki beaches/shopping,
Staff were super helpful, especially Barrett welcoming us to the hotel and ensuring we were looked after. Above and beyond
