POOLE Stadium’s car boot sale will return next weekend after a final minute cancellation.
Organisers had no choice but to cancel the car boot sale planned on Sunday morning, July 7 after a spell of heavy rainfall overnight and into the morning.
A spokesman for the popular event said: “Poole Stadium car boot sale is closed today July 7, 2024 due to the current rain and predicted forecast.”
But organisers have said it will return as scheduled next weekend on Sunday morning, July 14.
Poole Stadium’s car boot sale, based in Wimborne Road, has been a popular event with residents for many years.
Sellers get access to the site from 10am on the day and according to its Facebook post there is no need to book.
It costs sellers £7 per vehicle, buyers £1 per vehicle and no dogs are allowed on the site.
