A TRIBUTE band to one of the biggest rock bands in the world is returning to Witham this month as a part of 10-year anniversary tour.

Wrong Jovi – a tribute band to Bon Jovi – will be performing at Witham Public Hall on Saturday, May 25, as part of a national tour.

The band is will also be marking its 10th anniversary after first performing in June, 2014.

The group of professional musicians has ‘Ally’ as Jon Bon Jovi on vocals, blasting out favourites such as You Give Love A Bad NameWantedDead Or Alive, and the smash-hit Livin' On A Prayer.

Ally has appeared on X-FactorThe Singer Takes It All and Britain’s Got Talent.

Founding member Mark provides Richie Sambora’s guitar lines as well as backing vocals, and even lead vocals on occasion.

Jon is on keyboards and backing vocals, Jim is on bass and backing vocals and Alex is on drums to complete the line-up.

The band was nominated for the National Entertainment Award in 2022 and crowned Best Tribute Artist of 2023 at the National Entertainment Awards grand final.

Witham will be the band’s 26th performance of 2024 with the band playing in venues in every single month of the year.

TV celebrity - Channel 4’s The Convention Crasher and tribute band expert - Justin Lee-Collins said Wrong Jovi is one of the top Bon Jovi tribute acts in the world.

Wrong Jovi often perform over 100 shows a year and have headlined festivals in Malta, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, as well as in the UK, including a slot on the Electro Love stage at the 2019 and 2022 Isle Of Wight Festivals. 

The performance will start at 7.30pm with doors opening at 7pm.
