CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Are you looking for a place to watch fireworks this Independence Day? Below is a list of where you can gather with friends and families to celebrate the holiday amid a dazzling display of fireworks in the sky.

Folly Beach

Fireworks show: Head to Folly Beach this July 4 for a spectacular fireworks show at dusk. z

Georgetown

Fireworks over Georgetown: Fireworks will be set off at Morgan Park at around 9:30 p.m. on July 4, according to Georgetown City Fire Department. The fireworks can be seen from Harborwalk and other areas on the water.

Spectators are encouraged to park at East Bay Park and throw a blanket or chair in the grass to enjoy the show.  People should not park on the grass. Follow parking rules on any posted signs. 

Goose Creek

Fabulous Fourth in the Creek: The City of Goose Creek will host its annual Fourth of July celebration from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday. The event will feature live music, food vendors, kids’ activities, and a fireworks show. Admission and parking are free — but parking is limited so people are encouraged to carpool.

Isle of Palms

Isle of Palms Fireworks Show: The City will host a public Independence Day Fireworks Show on July 4 at 9 p.m. Organizers say beachgoers will be required to leave the beach between 21st Avenue and 3rd Sea Cabins by 6:30 p.m. so that officials can set up for the show. The event is free and will happen in the Front Beach area.

Mount Pleasant

Patriots Point 4th of July Fireworks Blast: Watch fireworks light up Charleston Harbor this year from Patriots Point. While there will not be a parking lot party this year, people can purchase tickets to watch fireworks from the USS Yorktown’s flight deck. The fireworks show will begin around 9:30 p.m. There will be live music, food vendors, and drinks for purchase. Buy your tickets here.

Murrells Inlet

Fourth of July on the MarshWalk: The Murrells Inlet MarshWalk will celebrate Independence Day with the 41st annual Murrells Inlet Boat Parade on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Restaurants along the MarshWalk will celebrate with live music, food, and drinks. Fireworks are also planned for the event.

North Charleston

July 4th Festival at Riverfront Park: The City of North Charleston will host a festival at Riverfront Park on July 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a firework show at 9:00 p.m.

Summerville

Fireworks and Freedom Festival: Head to Gahagan Park on Thursday evening for inflatables, food trucks, fireworks, and live music to celebrate the Fourth of July. The Town of Summerville invites residents to bring their lawn chairs and blankets out for the free family event scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
