JAXPORT's three cargo terminals can handle every type of general and project cargo. From bulk to containers to vehicles to breakbulk, JAXPORT handled 8,128,013 tons in Fiscal Year 2011. This tonnage included a record number of containers – 900,433 TEUs – as well as 520,142 vehicles, making JAXPORT the No. 1 U.S. port for vehicle exports. Jacksonville is now the top container port in Florida and ranks No. 13 in the United States.
