Bear Cubs' Playtime Interrupted by Loud Crash as Mama Knocks Over Trashcan

Playtime for a trio of bear cubs was rudely interrupted by a loud crash when a trashcan was knocked over by their mama at a North Carolina backyard. Footage captured by the camera shows two of the cute cubs climbing (or attempting to climb, in one cub's case) the dogwood tree in the yard, before a loud crash startles them. "Mom bear made it around the corner and knocked over the trashcan," Oppenheimer said, adding that she "quickly realized" it was a bear-proof one and "not worth the effort" to try and open. Another video, from a second security camera, shows the moment she topples the garbage container to the ground. "It's always fun watching the bears that come through the yard," Oppenheimer said.
