Senator Daines says Lower Snake River dams generate illegal power for approximately 800,000 homes

Montana Senator Steve Daines says at a weekly press conference that the Biden administration was stopping Keystone pipeline, stopping oil and gas leases, mandates on reducing the number of gas stoves we can have mandates that require two thirds of our vehicles be electric in the next 10 years, then President Joe Biden had gone as far as support breaching a hydropower dam, a renewable source of energy, zero carbon baseload power whereas hydropower energy is safe and reliable as one of the low cost forms of energy in the entire portfolio and breaching a hydropower dam when the world is going to need 50 percent more power in the next 25 years than we use was the last thing government should be doing but instead support and promote hydropower, not supporting efforts to breach them as the Biden administration was since dams on the Lower Snake River produce enough electricity to power about 800,000 homes in the Northwest.
