The Foreign Secretary, Lord Cameron, and the Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Elina Valtonen, signed a Joint Declaration on the Strategic Partnership between the UK and Finland in London on 20 May 2024.

It sets out our ambition to enhance our cooperation across:

  • foreign policy
  • security and defence
  • science and technology
  • sustainable development
  • economic cooperation
  • irregular migration
  • climate and energy
