We provide a range of services in Oman to the public and to business. We have 14 UK-based staff and over 50 staff employed locally.

Get an emergency travel document
You can apply for an emergency travel document if you’re abroad and your passport has been lost or stolen, damaged or expired, and you can’t get a new or replacement passport in time to travel.
Apply online for an emergency travel document
If the person needing the emergency travel document is under 16, a parent or guardian should apply on their behalf.
If you are travelling in more than 3 weeks, check if you can get a new or replacement passport in time to travel.

UK-Oman Digital Hub
The UK-Oman Digital hub was launched by the British Embassy Muscat after the signing of the Oman-UK comprehensive agreement (2019) which promised an increase in co-operation in the areas of digital skills and cyber security. The Hub delivers two separate but linked work strands, ‘Cyber Skills’ and ‘Digital economy’.
