Norfolk’s largest brewery has launched a new American-inspired craft beer range.
Woodforde’s Brewery, based in Woodbastwick, has unveiled its New World craft range, inspired by head brewer Aaron Taubman’s American roots.
The first two beers in the New World brewing range - Tropical IPA and Hazy IPA – are now available on-trade in 30l kegs.
Mr Taubman joined the Woodforde’s team in late 2023 after a decade at Purity Brewing Co in the Midlands.
He learned his craft at the Siebel Institute of Technology in Chicago and MillerCoors in California, picking up five Great American Beer Festival medals before making his move to the UK.

He said: “Both beers are specially crafted in a true American style.
“These brews are punchy and full of attitude, completely different to our traditional range.
“We want to take our customers on a journey and introduce bold, new flavours that we haven’t featured before in our other beers.
“It has been great working with the team to create this new range and make an exciting step forward in the story of this prestigious brewery.”

The brewery says its Tropical IPA (5% ABV) features real mango and pineapple to strike the perfect balance of bitterness and fruity sweetness alongside Amarillo, Calypso and Mosaic hops.
It says its Hazy IPA (4.5% ABV) is brewed using Citra and El Dorado hops alongside ample oats to deliver a kick of citrus bliss in every pour finished with a luxurious mouthfeel.
