Their innings was briefly interrupted by rain after three overs, at which point VIrat Kohli and Faf du Plessis had put up an opening stand of 31 runs. That increased to 78 off 58 balls despite CSK exploiting the conditions by throwing spinners at the pair after resumption. The opening stand ended with Kohli falling on 47 off 29 balls. (AFP)
