Gautam Adani drew a salary of ₹9.26 crore for FY2024. Annual reports of the 10 listed entities of the group showed that he drew his salary from only two out of the 10 companies in his ports-to-energy conglomerate.

The 62-year-old billionaire's remuneration from the group's flagship firm Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) included ₹2.19 crore salary and perquisites, allowances and other benefits worth ₹27 lakh.

According to AEL's 2023-24 annual report, Adani's total remuneration stood up to ₹2.46 crore which was 3 per cent more than previous financial year.

Besides this, the businessman drew a salary of ₹6.8 crore from Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd (APSEZ).

Adani's remuneration is lower than telecom czar Sunil Bharti Mittal's ( ₹16.7 crores in 2022-23), Rajiv Bajaj's ( ₹53.7 crores), Pawan Munjal's ( ₹80 crores), L&T Chairman S N Subrahmanyan's and Infosys CEO Salil S Parekh's annual remuneration.
