NEET UG 2024: Congress' nationwide protest. See pics

Congress workers held a nationwide demonstration on June 21 over the alleged irregularities in the NEET UG 2024 examination.

Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav led protests against the alleged NEET paper leak outside the BJP office in New Delhi.

A letter addressed to Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) presidents, in-charges and leaders of all frontal organisations stated that there is an urgent need to address the numerous complaints and concerns about NEET UG 2024 conduct and results.

Protests swept across India as thousands of students hit the streets against the alleged question paper leaks, inflated markings and arbitrary allowance of grace marks.

This came days after as many as 67 students scored a perfect 720 in the NEET examination, unprecedented in the NTA's history, with six from Haryana's Faridabad.

The SC allowed the NTA to conduct the re-examination and cancel the scorecards of the 1,563 candidates who would opt to appear the re-exam today in 6 cities in a single shift - from 2 pm to 5.20 pm.

Trinamool Chhatra Parishad (TMCP), students wing of All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) supporters staged a protest against the recent scam in the NEET and UGC-NET exams in front of Asutosh College in Kolkata.

Police personnel detained Congress supporters during a protest against the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 entrance exam results and the cancellation of the UGC-NET Exam, in Lucknow.

The allegations have sparked protests in several cities and the filing of petitions in high courts and the Supreme Court.
