America is about to get a big dose of James Corden.
The British comedian takes over as host of CBS’ Late Late Show Monday, following Craig Ferguson‘s exit in December. Thanks to a starring role in Into the Woods, Corden’s U.S. profile got a boost, with him charming the pants off of late night hosts while promoting the film.

Corden came face-to-face with the man who will eventually be his lead in, with Stephen Colbert teasing the comedian about following David Letterman. “You must have balls,” Colbert said, a double-edged joke since Colbert will be taking over Letterman’s Late Show spot.
