But the British actor-comic is about to appear in their living rooms nightly after Canada’s CTV acquired CBS‘ The Late Late Show With James Corden for its own late night schedule.
The deal with CBS Studios International will see Corden replace Scottish funnyman Craig Ferguson at the Late Late Show desk from March 23, 2015 on CTV Two, following The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. ?
CTV Networks’ late night lineup includes The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Late Night With Seth Meyers and Conan on the main CTV network.
“James Corden is a versatile entertainer with endless comedic talents,” said Mike Cosentino, senior vp programming at CTV Networks and CraveTV, on Wednesday in a statement of the former Gavin & Stacey star coming to Canadian TV.
