As our region responded to the coronavirus pandemic, we sought to bring businesses and other organisations together to support the local community and each other.
Working with the Humber Local Resilience Forum and business membership and support organisations through the Humber Economic Resilience Group, we created a new portal listing how businesses could support the region’s response.
The portal listed requests for help from local public sector and community organisations, as well as Government calls which businesses may wish to respond to.
We also initiated a call for business volunteers to provide informal help to the region’s SMEs during these difficult times.
The portal is currently paused, but can be reactivated if required in the future.
