Eminem enlists two of Detroit's most prominent voices in the rap game to hop on his brand-new single.

On Tuesday, July 2, Eminem released his new single "Tobey" featuring Big Sean and BabyTron. On the song produced by marvy ayy, John Nocito, Daniyel, Carlton McDowell, Cole Bennett and Em himself, BabyTron kicks things off with a chorus inspired by Tobey McGuire's Spider-Man followed by the most cohesive verse of his career thus far. Sean Don taps into his inner Wes Craven for his lyrics before Em closes out by mentioning his past beef with Melle Mel in his deadly verse.

"So when I get dissed though and by a pioneer, who was one of the reasons why I am here," Em spits. "They tell me I should just let that s**t go and slide (Why?)/'Melle Mel shouldn't get no reply,' (What?) 'That man is a legend,' b***h, so am I (Haha)."

Melle Mel and Eminem's beef began in March 2023 when "The Message" rapper said that Em's skin tone was the only reason why he's mentioned in the Top 5 rappers conversation, and not his award-winning rap skills. Em took Mel's criticisms to heart and called Mel a "juice head" in his verse for Ez Mil's song "Realest." The veteran member of the Furious Five responded with a lackluster freestyle, but later apologized to Em after he claimed it was "ill-conceived."

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee is also preparing to drop a bloody music video for his new single. The Shady Records co-founder revealed an ominous clip from the Cole Bennett-directed visuals last week featuring all three artists. Shortly after the announcement went viral, Em confirmed the release date for his anticipated 12th studio album in another disturbing trailer. In the clip, Em brings fans back to the fictitious Pompsomp Hills Hospital where a woman gives birth to a baby boy, who instantly turns into a demon who grows horns. The name of his album appears at the end along with the release date, July 12.
