Rap Rising: Killer Mike Addresses Grammys Arrest On New Single 'Humble Me'

Killer Mike reveals how being arrested outside the Grammy Awards humbled him on his new single.

Earlier this week, the Atlanta native delivered his latest song "Humble Me," which was added to iHeartRadio's Rap Rising playlist. In the black-and-white video for the song, Mike boasts about his accomplishments and riches before he's stripped of his jewelry and lavish accessories. Later on, you can see him being placed in handcuffs as he vents about the experience.

"I won at the Grammys for spitting my grammar, did that for Atlanta," he raps. "Did that for Atlanta, bruh, swept up like a janitor/Got sent to the slammer, bruh."

"Treat me like an animal or some kind of Hannibal, vicious and cannibal," he continues. "The Devil be doing you, right when you doing it, the Devil will ruin you."

Mike dropped the track days after authorities in Los Angeles decided not to charge him with any crimes. He was arrested back in February after he allegedly got into an altercation with a security guard as he was trying to enter the Crypto.com Arena for the live broadcast of the Grammys. He was detained and later released from custody.

Killer Mike's music video dropped right before Eminem dropped his new single "Tobey" featuring Big Sean and BabyTron. It also arrived before other fresh projects like 42 Dugg's 4eva Us Neva Them, JT Money's Immortal, Stalley's Peerless, Suga Free & Sporty's Street Communion and Cool & Dre's North Miami Soul Revival. Check out more new music from Ken Carson, Trae Tha Truth, French Montana, Killer Mike, Quavo and more below.
