Take a healing stroll along the Michinoku Coastal Trail
Refresh your mind and body on Sanriku Fukko (reconstruction) National Park's Michinoku Coastal Trail, a long distance footpath that stretches from Hachinohe in Aomori Prefecture to Soma in Fukushima Prefecture. This guided experience of two-and-a-half hours departs from Samuraihama, in Kuji, Iwate Prefecture, and offers the chance to breathe in the sea breeze as a form of holistic treatment called thalassotherapy.
