Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join us on a temporary basis to support us through a busy period within our operation. We are a family run business based in Ross-On-Wye and are one of the UKs most successful growers of asparagus, blueberries and green beans.,

• Responsibility for taking ownership of the sales ledgers, including raising invoices and validation of selling prices.


• Responsibility for recording sales receipts on the ledger in a timely and efficient manner


• To monitor the sales ledger balances and be responsible for credit control and ensuring all credit terms are adhered to.


• Undertake any other office administration tasks as required.
  
  Previous experience of running a sales ledger, especially credit control.


• Experience of contacting customers and obtaining payment of overdue invoices.


• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.


• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.


• Ability to deliver right- first- time results quickly.


• A minimum of AAT 3 or evidence of equivalent experience.
