Full Job Description
- You will be required to study for the Level 3 Building Services Design Technician Apprenticeship
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
- Understand and contribute to site-specific safety plans
- Ensure personal and collective safety
- Adhere to the Quality Management System
- Maintain professionalism at all times
- Support company objectives when requested
- Assist Engineers and Line Managers with their tasks
- Manage their own time efficiently and seek help when needed
- Help team leaders and senior management with Mechanical Engineering projects
- Prepare drawings and develop knowledge in various software (Revit, AutoCAD, lighting design, cable calculation)
- Plan and monitor workloads, highlighting issues and needed support
- Develop communication and personal effectiveness skills
- Build and maintain effective working relationships
- Provide solutions to technical problems
- Enhance technical capabilities according to personal development plans
- Utilize and improve skills in CAD and Revit for project design and delivery
- Perform administrative and other duties as required
Good communication and organisational skills - An aptitude to problem solving
- Demonstrable enthusiasm, ambition and a willingness to learn
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, and ideally some experience using Revit/AutoCAD, however this is not essential
- Teamworking skills including the ability to contribute to team discussions
- Proactive and receptive to constructive advice and guidance
- Willing to learn new skills and adapt
- Know one's limitations and when to ask for help or escalate
- Work independently when appropriate and take responsibility and pride in your work
- Effectively contribute to discussions as part of a team 5 GCSEs at Grades A- C including Maths, English and Science or a Level 2 Apprenticeship
