This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Community and Leisure Services Team.

We pay an attractive salary of £12.18 - £12.38 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

The post involves a variety of duties including supervision of facilities, awareness of facility bookings/activities to setting up and dismantling equipment, ensuring that all users are adopting safe practices and standards and understands and demonstrates commitment to the Council's policies.

You will assist in the day-to-day operational duties, service standards and performance of the centre to ensure the highest possible standards of customer care. You will be responsible for dealing with customer suggestions and complaints efficiently and effectively in accordance with Council procedure and maintain high standards of health and safety, building hygiene, cleanliness and presentation to support performance excellence and continuous improvement.

For the role, we ask that you have:

1. A Level 2 Pool Lifeguard Award and a First Aid at Work Qualification.
2. Understanding of the principles of customer care.
3. Experience of working in customer focused environments.
