Battery Systems Modelling Engineer

As a Battery Systems Modelling Engineer, you will join the UK team to support our activities within the Aerospace/Space sectors.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Conduct research on new progressive battery tech which is suitable for hybrid/electric propulsion systems, specifically within aerospace, space & aviation usage;


• Outline the battery pack testing equipment alongside the requirements for the laboratory infrastructure;


• Analyse battery systems with the use of simulation tools to predict the reliability of the battery systems being modelled;


• Design & develop battery systems specifically for hybrid propulsion systems.
  
  An individual with the ability to research new battery system technology across various engineering sectors with the potential to further develop these systems;


• An individual with strong written & oral communication skills with the ability to remain focused whether working individually or as a team on projects;


• An individual with a clear motivation to research and develop new emerging technology.
