Business Analyst

In this role you'll support initiatives through project planning, business analysis, communications and change management activities.

You'll work on multiple deliveries engaging with business subject matter experts and process owners, supporting the extraction and documentation of business led requirements. Capture and assess the business and application impacts of any proposed changes in a structured way, while ensuring that the relevant business areas impacted are ready for any changes and are effective in implementing new projects and change.

What you will do

• Analysing business processes, identifying alternative solutions, assessing feasibility, and recommending new approaches seeking to leverage new technology.


• Producing business requirement documents on behalf of the business - identifying the deliverables required to achieve project and small change objectives and to enable benefits to be delivered.


• Providing analytical data as required to support project and small change deliverables and assist in decision making process.


• Regular communication to the business teams and key stakeholders on project and small change progress and deliverables.


• Supporting and conducting meetings and workshops including minute taking and actions and distributing and owning the delivery of them post meeting.


• Generating flowcharts for business processes and systems interaction points


• Co-ordinating and contributing to User Acceptance Testing and Business Verification testing to include the review of Test Approach and Test Plan documentation and Testing Status Updates.
  
  Proven ability of facilitating and organising workshops.


• Manufacturing background is a bonus


• Knowledge of process modelling techniques with the use of business modelling tools.


• Commercial and financial understanding. Experience of the analysis process. Requirements gathering in the form of user stories, writing acceptance criteria / test cases,


• Proven stakeholder management experience.


• Strong written skills required to produce analysis and design documentation, with the ability to explain complex scenarios in an easily understandable way.


• Ability to engage effectively with people from all areas and levels of the business within the team, across teams, at senior levels and with external parties.
