Café All Rounder

Jump 360 Newcastle are looking for an experienced Café worker, for shifts mainly on weekends and school holidays. All applicants must be able to work weekends and must be 16 or older. Experience of using fryers, using Barista machines, serving customers and food preparation would be preferred. All part-time vacancies pay national minimum rate / national living wage rates.

Jump 360 is the North East's Premier provider of Indoor Trampoline Parks. We take unused warehouses and transform them into exciting and exhilarating leisure centres for all the family.

Tasks:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cooking food for Birthday parties and other orders


• Using deep fat fryers, ovens and sandwich presses


• Delivering food orders to customers at their table


• Making Barista Coffees


• Serving Customers on the till


• Keeping the Kitchen area clean and tidy


• Cleaning duties including wiping down tables and the upstairs seating areas


• Re-stocking Servery and store rooms when necessary


• Helping with centre cleaning during closedown
  
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels


• Any Fist Aid, Food Hygiene or catering qualifications would be advantageous


• Ability to work under pressure


• Attention to detail and pride in your work


• The ability to work well as part of a team, but the initiative to work alone if needed


• Understanding of safe food preparation and handling


Experience:

Previous experience in a Café environment is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
