\n\nAs a Team Member in our cafe, you're part of everything - a bit of cooking, a bit of chatting with customers, and a lot of impact. As someone dedicated to great service, you'll make sure that every dish you prepare and serve lives up to the promise of our menu and meets all safety standards. Along with this, you'll help keep everything, from kitchen equipment to customer tables tidy and clean.

\n\nIt's our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
\n\nThe table shows the periods of time in the week we'd like you to be available to work - the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you'll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you're available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we'd still love to hear from you. You will be responsible for
\r\n \r\n Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of Tesco as a business, the following provides an overview of the role's key responsibilities and measures:
\n\n\n\tKeeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.\n\tServing customers quickly, efficiently and with care.\n\tFollowing food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.\n\tPractising first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation to keep our food fresh.\n\tAccepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.\n\tBeing aware of (and following) all operational policies and procedures.\n\tPreparing, cooking, and serving food according to our cafe's delicious menu.\n\tMaking sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.\n\tKnowing our cafe's menu inside and out and serving food exactly as it's intended.\n\tResolving customer complaints and passing on information to the Cafe Manager.\n\tStaying up-to-date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.\n\tClearing and sanitising tables so our cafe stays clean.\n\n\r\n
