Full Job Description

TOA Taxis, Birmingham's most prestigious black cab company, are seeking Call Centre Operators to join our team based in Harborne, Birmingham.

We have two Full Time vacancies available;

x1 Vacancy on the Afternoon Shift (3pm-11pm) x5 days a week

x1 Vacancy on the Night Shift (11pm - 7am) x5 days a week

(40 hrs per week - Might include Saturdays and Sundays).

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Taking incoming calls from customers who would like to book a taxi or assisting with any general inquiries.

  • (Data entry) Recording and inputting information accurately.

  • Dispatching drivers to provide timely and efficient transportation.

    Are you outgoing and confident, a positive team player with a friendly attitude?, Excellent spoken and written communication skills

  • Computer Literate

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Previous experience in customer service, dispatch, or a transportation-related field preferred.

  • Geographical knowledge of Birmingham is useful but not essential as full training will be provided.

  • This role can be fast paced during peak times so you must be able to work under pressure in a calm, professional manner., Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
