Full Job Description

This will be for a Band 4 Integrated Technician post, working within Children's Community Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. You will be working within both Special Schools and Community Settings, currently based within the Bristol team as part of a BNSSG wide service.

This is a full-time post, 37.5hr and as part of the therapy team, you will be working with children with a variety of diagnoses, under the supervision of Physiotherapy / Occupational therapist.,

  • Working within a special school and the community setting.

  • Undertaking treatment blocks as designed by the therapist.

  • Developing a knowledge of Hydrotherapy and supporting the team/group sessions as needed in the community and special schools.

  • To be involved in supporting therapists in specialist equipment assessments for postural management.

  • To be involved in supporting orthotic clinics alongside the orthotist and therapist.
