Full Job Description
- Machine Setting and Operation: Set 3-4 axis CNC milling machines and run parts to a high quality.
- Technical Interpretation: Interpret technical drawings to produce parts that meet drawing specifications.
- Machine Management: Run multiple machines when jobs allow.
- Quality Control: Work on small batches of high-quality parts with a right-first-time attitude, and self-inspect work to ensure quality.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve productivity and accelerate output within the company.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting and running 3-4 axis machining centres to produce quality parts to specification, with the ability to check their own work using a variety of measuring equipment. This role involves working within our fast-paced workshop, setting CNC milling machines to run parts to a high standard., Essential Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in setting and operating 3-4 axis CNC milling machines.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Experience in self-inspecting work to ensure quality standards are met., Mastercam CAD / CAM software: 2 years (required)
- CNC Milling: 2 years (required)
Competitive Salary: £15 to £18 per hour (depending on experience)
