Full Job Description

We have an exceptional opportunity to join our industries leading company in the role of CNC Programmer.

This will be a full-time job role within the programming department which is suited to someone who is a problem solver and can also provide solutions to the Production Team.

The Programmer will be working alongside the Design and Production team, you'll be programming different types of paint finishing equipment to suit our customer's needs, this may be Spray Booths / High Temperature Ovens / Clean Rooms / Pre-Treatments etc. Working alongside our in-house design team, you'll be expected to produce accurate sheet metal flat patterns / import DXF's and help with any QC problems the production team may have. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to help different departments within the company.

The Primary Duties are as follows:

- Working closely with the Production team and liaising with the Design team to ensure designs/parts are correct.

- Creating and developing sheet metal parts within programming software.

- Keeping the programming database up to date.

- Prioritising workload alongside Production Scheduler.

- Helping with any quality issues and providing solutions to any problems.

Experience using 2D AutoCAD (Preferred)

- Efficient with Lantek programming software (Preferred)

- Sheet metal / Fabrication experience (Preferred)

- Experience Using Autodesk Inventor (Non-essential)

- Experience with B.O.M.s

- Reporting accurate information to Team Leader on projects you are working on.

- Able to work within a team but also effectively on their own whilst carrying out projects.

- Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent Communication and written skills
