Full Job Description

Due to recent restructure, there is an opportunity, to join our existing Commercial broking department, who exclusively handle the commercial broking of connected business within the wider Bartlett Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for their own portfolio of clients and tasked with handling any new business enquires, mid-term amendments, renewals and cover queries while providing a high level of service. You will be broking to various e-trade and manual markets, with premiums ranging typically between £1000 - £20,000.

This is a key role as you'll be responsible for supporting the wider business needs of longstanding and new client relationships and liaising with other departments where necessary to provide impeccable service.

We are looking for a confident, experienced and driven team player who has a proven record for delivering results through effective negotiation and excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Negotiating and strong relationship building skills to retain a profitable book of business.

  • Maintaining positive working relationships both internally and externally.

  • Effectively managing own workload to ensure that service standards are met.

  • Use excellent communication and client handling abilities to always ensure an outstanding client experience.

  • Working as a team player and helping colleagues when required.

  • Participating in team initiatives and workshops.

  • Obtaining and maintaining the level of technical knowledge required to be competent in your role including completing required CPD hours per year.

  • To be aware of and comply with relevant FCA regulations.

  • Previous commercial broking experience - essential

  • Acturis system knowledge - desirable

  • Cii qualifications - desirable
