Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and capable Communications Manager to join the Public Health Wales Communications Division and play a central role in our Internal and Corporate Communications function.,

  • Develop, deliver and evaluate internal communications campaigns aligned with the organisation's strategic goals and wider communications strategy.

  • Provide input and advice to strategic internal communications development and content across the organisation.

  • Devise and execute effective communications strategies for key change programmes, using existing internal communication channels.

  • Create, write and edit content for Public Health Wales staff internal channels including intranet, social channels, bulletins and other content as required.

  • Work with the Senior Communications Manager on the delivery of the corporate events strategy for the organisation, to include major events, including the annual Staff Conference.

  • Develop relationships with key staff across the organisation.

  • Deputise for the Senior Communications Manager at meetings and in other communications work in their absence when required.

    We're looking for an experienced communications professional who has the drive and appetite to create and deliver effective internal communications, to help engage the hearts and minds of staff.
