This Outstanding Ofsted setting based in Bristol, providing the local community with outstanding quality inspiring childcare since 1988, are looking for a level 2 apprentice. The role involves caring for children 0 - 5., As an apprentice you will be a key member of the nursery team, your duties may include:

Planning and delivering fun and educational activities with the children

Play alongside and with children to support their play

Contribute to children's records through observation

Assist with the supervision of children at rest times and at mealtimes

Contribute in creating a safe, happy environment for the children

Ensure the play area is clean and tidy at all times

Working alongside outside agencies in supporting the children

Friendly and approachable

Patient and caring

The ability to interact positively with children and adults

Flexible and willing to carry out a number of different activities within the job role

Reliable

Trustworthy

Motivated

Good time keeping

This position would suit a candidate with a bubbly, outgoing personality who is able to work on their own initiative and is prepared to commit to the work required for an apprenticeship., Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Diploma
Level 1 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
End-Point Assessment (EPA)
On the job training, GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4-9) Desired
GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4-9) Desired, Early years practitioner

Level 2 (GCSE)

An ofsted Outstanding homely day nurseries provide resources, opportunities, experiences and activities to meet each child's individual needs. Established in the local community for more than 30 years, they have excellent links with local primary schools. They provide warm & friendly, inspiring, excellent care for children from birth to five years old. Each setting is 31 places with only 9 under twos ensuring each child is individually cared for. nurseries benefit from from downstairs free-flow rooms well-stocked with quality and inspiring resources, regularly changing set-ups and plenty of mark-marking equipment. Babies at both settings have their own floor with a play room, sleep room and separate kitchen/ dining area. Outside, the nursery has a large, secure, all-weather outdoor space, so children are continually active outside and in, and have the opportunity to play and learn as much outside as inside. The gardens have a large sensory area and different zones
