The responsibilities may include some but not all of the responsibilities outlined below: a) To approach and conduct interviews with family members and describe how family members experience the operationalisation of withholding/withdrawing of life-sustaining treatments process and death and dying b) To examine (any) psychological impact to family members as a consequence of involvement in end-of-life decision-making and how they were managed and supported c) To contribute to the development of a theoretical supportive care model for family members participating in end-of-life decision making and withholding/withdrawing life-sustaining treatment discussions in ICU d) Contribute to the methodological design of the research project, advising on appropriate design and analysis and supporting writing study protocols e) Contribute to writing bids for research funding to support a developing research programme in clinical decision support tools for improving patient safety.
