About the Role :
The Dynamics Finance and Operations (F&O) Senior TechnicalConsultant is a core team member of KPMG customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 centered solutions.
The Senior Technical Consultant will play a crucial role within the F&O Practice, contributing to and supporting of the technical build and design of high-quality F&O solutions and the supporting infrastructure for our clients.
The role consists of both technical and analytical tasks; covering requirements clarifications, technical analysis and design, development, support, and client interaction to deliver Dynamics F&O based solutions.
You will work closely with both the functional team, offshore colleagues and the clients of KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions, demonstrating a hands-on approach combined with an effective balance between soft skills and a broad range of technical skills.
This role is an important element of KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions' delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O projects.

Responsibilities :
- Contribute to the technical delivery of high-quality business solutions to our clients using
- knowledge of Dynamics F&O technical capabilities and associated infrastructure, working closely
- with client and delivery teams
- Help organise, contribute to and document workshops, meetings and requirements sessions with
- client representatives, project stakeholders and delivery team(s)
- Interact effectively with other members of the delivery team to ensure that the solution meets
- client's requirements
- The creation of high quality and sustainable client solutions and project documentation including
- support for testing activities
- Deliver all consultancy and configuration work according to KPMG project methodology, ensuring
- that all software applications are implemented successfully according to the project plan : on time
- and on budget
- Delivery of end-user training to clients and colleagues where applicable
- Be an active member of technical and design working groups within the practice as and when
- required
- Contribute to pre-sales activities as required including building demo and proof of concept
- solutions for various client presentations
- Contribute to the creation of KPMG Dynamics 365 solutions and industry templates
- Meet and exceed customer expectations of business knowledge, skills, and behaviour
- Identify business / project risks and mitigate or communicate as necessary
- Communicate progress updates to relevant parties both formally and informally
- Support practice development activities such as defining and configuring industry specific
- solutions
- In all activities, ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training
- Work on own initiative and with minimal support if needed
- To carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the
- management team

Experience and Background : - Proven experience as a technical ERP consultant including appropriate certification(s)
- Experience with D365O in a Development Consulting role
- Good understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O technical capabilities and limits
- Ability to clearly articulate and present ideas and solutions in line with the capabilities of
- Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience in gathering and documenting technical requirements
- Experience with D365FO interfacing and integration
- Experience in providing development solutions in a D365O environment
- Knowledge of Lifecycle Services and DevOps / Visual Studio Team Services
- An understanding of the core Power Platform components, including PowerApps, Power
- Automate, LogicApps and Common Data Service
- Knowledge of other technologies such as SQL PowerBI, SharePoint and ideally .Net
- An understanding of the broader Microsoft stack and Azure services
- Understanding of scope (creep) and use of change control processes
- Pre-sales experience is desirable, Strong presentation skills and clear, effective communication skills
- Ability to lead meetings and present to the C-Suite stakeholders
- Confident in own ability and demonstrates this to clients and colleagues
- Thinks clearly and responds calmly when under pressure
- Solves complex problems with creative solutions
- Business process mapping, modelling and documentation knowledge
- Works independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to manage time and prioritise multiple tasks accordingly
