Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for the role of Fueller Shunter and Cleaning Supervisor at our Mansfield Depot, where we run a varied fleet of 81 vehicles to provide a service to the local community. We control all aspects of the maintenance, cleanliness and appearance of our fleet to provide a comfortable, clean and reliable service to the public., You'll be part of our Mansfield team who contribute to transporting our fantastic customers safely and comfortably every day to healthcare and employment, to shopping and leisure, and to friends and family.

The daily duties of a Fueller Shunter is to fuel, adblue, oil, shunt and park company vehicles, cleaning the interior and exterior of the vehicles on a nightly basis. The post holder will be required to be flexible on occasion with shifts to work or change rest days help cover work load to help cover holidays and sickness where applicable.

Additional to the duties of a fueller shunter working along side the team, the supervisor would be expected to assist in the following;

  • Ensure all shifts / rotas are covered and efficient

  • Work loads are distributed evenly

  • Ensure all tasks are carried out to a satisfactory standard

  • Any additional tasks are planned into the work load

  • Be able to demonstrate leading a team previously

  • Keen eye for detail, focused on presentation and quality

  • Car driving licence essential, PSV licence would be beneficial
