We're thrilled to introduce a role that will ignite the future of our financial operations: Head of Financial Reporting and Controls!

As our Head of Financial Reporting and Controls, you'll be the master of all things finance, overseeing financial reporting, processes, and controls. With your skills and experience, you'll work side-by-side with our CFO and Head of Commercial Finance, ensuring the gears of our finance function run like a well-oiled machine.

Get ready to inspire and empower your direct reports: the Financial Process Controller and the Financial Reporting Senior Manager. Together, you'll form an unstoppable trio, creating a high-performing and collaborative environment where magic happens!

You'll also indirectly lead a team of approximately 17 other finance professionals, combining your talents to achieve excellence across our financial operations.

Your Mission

  • Inspire, develop, and empower our Financial Reporting and Processing teams, through nurturing future talent, and fostering an inclusive culture of growth and success.

  • Become the guardian of quality when it comes to external reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in Plc Annual reports and Accounts, statutory subsidiary accounts, tax returns, and more.

  • Take the helm in the annual audit process, guiding your team to deliver flawless and timely audit outcomes, earning the title of Audit Maestro.

  • Unleash your strategic mind as you review and reinforce financial controls, bringing corporate governance and discipline to the heart of our business.

  • Be the mastermind of efficiency as you streamline processes and orchestrate the month-end close and daily operational finance processes, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

  • Use your expertise to heroically preserve the integrity and robustness of balance sheet figures through meticulous reconciliations and well-documented working papers.

  • Join forces with the Head of Commercial Finance, achieving seamless alignment between external statutory reporting and captivating communication to analysts, shareholders, and the City.

  • Become superhero of providing top-notch technical and analytical support to the CFO, the Board, and the corporate team, guiding critical decisions across the Group.

  • Rise to the occasion and take the lead in finance's involvement in major projects like the Business Operating Model and ERP replacement, shaping the future of our finance function with your prowess.
