Housing Disrepair Paralegal

Duties will include managing a litigated case load 100-250 files.

Existing Pre litigation experience is essential

The ability to manage a case from start to finish

- Progressing civil court proceedings from the inception of a Claim Form being issued up until a final hearing at a trial.

- Negotiating settlements.

-Liaising with Counsel.

- Providing advice to clients and completing client reports (subject to close supervision).

• LLB and LPC completion is desirable.


• 1 year litigation experience of managing a caseload.


• Must be familiar with the CPR rules and Practice Direction.


• Financial mis-selling experience desirable


• Advocacy skills are desirable.


Key competencies: You must be confident and have the ability to work effectively under pressure in order to meet deadline. Excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail. Professional communication skills are a prerequisite.
