Are you passionate about developing and maintaining Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Assurance systems across company sites and vessels? Do you want to work in the green offshore wind industry where your skills and expertise will help secure a sustainable future based on renewable energy? Then you might be the HSEQ Advisor we are looking for., As our new HSEQ Advisor you will develop and implement HSEQ management system and carry out external and internal audits in accordance with quality, environmental and occupational health & safety standards. You will assist the Vice President - Head of HSEQ to provide HSEQ insight, knowledge, and support in all aspects of HSEQ to the company.

Your main tasks include:

  • Providing input to develop and execute annual HSEQ improvement program as well as planning and executing various safety and quality development of the company projects.

  • Managing monthly HSE reporting and assist in nominating observation cards for safety award.

  • Visiting both on- and offshore locations to liaise and support vessel crews on all Health Safety Environmental and Quality assurance matters. This includes responding to matters raised from vessel crews or office staff on all Health, Safety and Environmental matters.

  • Contributing and assisting at HAZID meetings both internally and externally as well as assisting with the planning and coordination of emergency exercises.

  • Incident investigation for causes (root and underlying), reporting and follow up as per company management system requirements.

  • We are looking for an excellent communicator, with good analytical skills and the ability to present complex information in easy and understandable format.

    We think you will be a good match if you have some of the following competencies:
  • You are a self-starter, with ability to work with direction but no supervision.

  • You have decision making capabilities and the ability to manage change and understand complicated systems.

  • You are client orientated and good at presenting.

  • Your UK writing and verbal skills are at high level.

  • You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in safety and excellent knowledge of all aspects of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.

  • You have good knowledge of current safety legal requirements and practices.

  • You are educated to at least NVQ level in Occupational Health and Safety Practice and has an Engineering degree or NEBOSH National General Certificate.

  • You have good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Investigation training or leader.


  • ISM auditor, ISO 14001 & 45001 lead auditor is preferred.
