Full Job Description

Asan Intelligence Development Officer, you will ensure the proactive use of various Police and ANPR systems to support the identification and location of new vehicles of interest.

You will fully exploit the ANPR search capabilities to identify further prevention and enforcement opportunities.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Work closely with the ANPR Operator during live-time incidents to ensure operational resources are supported with pertinent information that will allow them to effectively and safely undertake their duties, using a number of different intelligence systems.

  • Provide intelligence support to the FIM for spontaneous incidents and produce ANPR packages and intelligence products in support of the broader intelligence function.

  • Work in partnership with both internal and external agencies, utilising the ANPR capabilities, in relation to historical incidents and to identify further prevention and enforcement opportunities.

  • Create, audit and deactivate all ANPR markers on all relevant systems.

  • Previous analytical or policing experience preferred.
