Full Job Description

This Job role is to become an implant within our customers business learning all their systems to aid the communication and development of processes and add extra value to the current solutions in place. You will take ownership of all IT projects within the business, liaise with department managers and work closely with the IT Manager, to ensure projects are thoroughly investigated, well communicated and delivered on time. The successful candidate will also assist the IT Helpdesk with day-to-day IT support for colleagues.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Assisting the management team with all IT project proposals and coordination.

  • Supporting all project meetings, presentation preparation.

  • Maintaining project databases and any supporting project documents

  • Assistance in servicing the IT Helpdesk, ensuring all tickets are responded to within SLA, and updated with on-going progress & end resolution

  • Problem solve with colleagues, guiding through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues

  • Keeping IT documentation (support guides, protocols etc.) up to date and regularly auditing these documents

    Experience and exposure to how IT projects are managed from start to finish

  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office, with an Advanced level of Excel

  • Knowledge of network and PC hardware

  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues at all levels of the business

  • Strong multitasking skills with ability to prioritise workload

  • Ability to work within defined processes whilst also having the ability to identify improvements

  • A customer focused attitude and the ability to get things right first time

  • SQL experience would be advantageous but not essential, IT Support: 1 year (preferred)

  • Project management: 1 year (preferred)

    In return you will receive a salary from £25,000 depending on experience as well as an excellent benefits package and a positive working culture! Working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
