Laboratory Assistant

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, the position involves the routine testing of oils and fluids to ensure they meet quality control specifications. The successful candidate will need to work methodically and have good attention to detail. Full training will be provided., Routine testing of oil samples and checking of results to ensure they meet agreed test limits. (Kinematic Viscosity, Density etc) Accurate recording of said results.
- Clear readable recording of results is essential.
- Printing QC APPROVED batch number or Date of Manufacture labels as per instructions on printed MO's.
- Printing Check Weight Filling Sheets and filling in product details for each grade tested.
- Pre-printing of QC APPROVED BATCH NUMBER or Date of Manufacture and Check Weight Filling Sheets for some of the following day's MOs to assist filling operations.
