Laser Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining x2 laser cutting machines to produce high-quality metal components.

Duties:
- Set up laser and adjust m settings to ensure accurate cuts and shapes
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and precision
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance

-Monitor lasers during operation

-Sort finished parts once cut for the next stage of manufacturing
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Work with sheet metal loading and unloading the machine

Proficiency in using laser cutting machines and associated tooling
- Ability to read technical drawings

- Organisation of parts, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately

-Able to work to deadlines to ensure the smooth running of production
