Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes.

Duties:

- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management

- Utilise logistics IT systems.

- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations

- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the delivery performance.

- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies

- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

- Work with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline processe, Ensuring all related transport documents are properly completed, aiding the company's transition to a paperless solution.

- Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, which encompasses conducting safety-related investigations or audits.

- Coordinating with driver training providers to keep drivers updated on all training aspects and monitoring behavioral improvements where feasible.

- Liaise with Driver Training providers to ensure drivers are kept up to date with all aspects of training as well as monitoring behaviour improvements where possible

Previous experience supervising and managing drivers is essential

- Good understanding of relevant driver legislation: Working Time Directive,

Tachograph Legislation

- Possessing strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

- Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)., Proven experience in a logistics role, demonstrating a strong understanding of supply chain processes

- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory management practices

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to enhance efficiency

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

- Understanding of supply chain principles and practices
